I met Justine in high school, she has always been a source of positivity and happiness to those around her. Justine and I clicked instantly. We both have a thirst for exploring culture, be it through literature or foregin films, etc. so we’ve never run out of things to talk about. Justine has a beautiful and refreshing way of looking at the world and just being around her inspires you do do the same. I’ve had the pleasure of watching her grow into the fabulous independent woman she is today. Taking her passions and interests and turning it into a business. Justine is the type of person who has a goal in mind and goes for it, she does whatever it takes to accomplish it, but she never loses sight of those she cares about along the way. No matter how busy or hectic her life becomes she always has time for coffee or a chat, her caring and authentic nature is always a quality that I have admired in her. I am extremely proud to call Justine a friend. I hope she inspires you to follow your dreams as well.

I am a daughter, sister, wife, friend and most importantly, pug mother (see Walter). My passion is interior design and, in exploring this, I have come to own my own home staging and decor business, Justine Elise Interiors.
How Did You Get Into This Field Of Work?
I began my career in Public Relations but my love for design was always strong. While I was nervous, I decided I would rather follow my passion than continue in a field I wasn’t in love with. I changed direction and began shaping my life towards a future in design.

Travel, music, people, the small moments that make up each day.

What Are Your Hobbies?
“Take your pleasure seriously.”
I left what I studied to do to build my life around my hobbies and interests. I love decorating and design and each day I work to make my passions my livelihood. Food and wine are right up there, and yes, I take them very seriously.
What Are A Few Things You Do Every Single Day To Keep Yourself On Track?
I wake up each morning and write in my Five Minute Journal. In this I reflect on what I am grateful for, three things that would make the day great, and write an “I am” statement, or personal mantra. With this I begin each day with clear goals and a positive outlook. Before bed each night I reflect on the day in the same way. I also eat breakfast with my husband and walk my dog. I’m always thankful for these peaceful moments before the craziness begins.
If You Could Give Advice To Someone Looking To Get Into Your Field What Would It Be And Why?

Who Is Your Role Model/ Who Has Been The Most Influential Person In Your Life?
My husband Dan is my mentor and inspiration. His unwavering belief in my potential as a person and entrepreneur has been an extremely positive force in my life. Meeting him was a game changer.
I’m also grateful to say my Mom, Dad and sister Candice are some of my closest friends and I feel very lucky to have such a supportive family.
When Do You Feel Most Inspired?
Travelling gives me the feeling of new life. Taking a step away from routine to experience a new culture and atmosphere leaves me feeling refreshed and inspired. I never dread coming home after a trip because I know I’m re-entering my routine with a new perspective and vigour.
